Tis the Season

The Christmas spirit showed up really early in our house this year. Like, the weekend after Thanksgiving early. I was so excited to get our tree set up. The first time I saw this house, I knew exactly where I would put our tree (this is actually something I thought about in every house we looked at. while house shopping) It is centered perfectly between our back sliders and visible from the street and the canal!

Every year for I don't know how long, I have dreamed of hanging the nice, pre-decorated, quality garland around my front door. I could never pull the trigger on purchasing it. So, I finally did it this year! It looks so beautiful, I love it! Thanks to my wonderful hubby who reluctantly helped me hang it!!

The Holiday celebrations are in full swing here on Marco. Here are some pics of our fun times so far. Lots more to come!!

After realizing how terrible the picture was that I posted of the house on yesterday's blog post, I had to post a better one.....

Again, the landscaping is a work in progress.....

Playing Catch Up!

Wow, I think it has been about a year since I las posted to my blog. I've got the itch to do it agan. As if my to do list isn't long enough, I need to do a better job at keeping in touch with my Northern friends (sorry for being a terrible long distance friend) and the Holidays are a great time to do that!

So much has happened in the last year, that I don't think I could list everything in one post without boring everyone to death. But here are some of the hilights...

1. We bought a new house!!!!
This picture does not do it justice! It is a HUGE work in progress. This was right after the driveway was completed and we are now working on finishing up the landscaping. I will post an after pic once it is done.

2. We are SLOWLY renovating said house. (pictures will come)
3. L turned 4, S turned 2!!

4. My sister and her family decided to join us in Paradise by moving here this past Summer.
5. Along with my good friend, I have started an event planning business, Island Celebrations.

The kids keep us super busy. Right now L is playing soccer and taking dance and attending school every day. S will start school 2 days a week in January. We shall see how that goes, hehe. Let's just say he is quite the mama's boy!
